We currently have squirrels getting into our attic. I’ve never been in the attic so who knows how big it is and how many are nesting up there. I know they are staying for periods of time (and planning on making a home up there) as they are bringing things in with them and I can hear them scratching and running around up there. Why the previous owners did not take care of this when they did the roof is beyond me. I’m not surprised though as there are MANY things they neglected to do and should have done.
I’ll show you where they are getting in - on the right side of the window where the top roof meets the middle roof (see red arrow):
Tomorrow, the animal control people come. They will get the squirrels to leave for good and then come back to disinfect and close off the hole. Cannot wait to get these pesky rodents out of the attic as it’s only a matter of time before they are sleeping in the bed with us.
