Having a fabulous time in Charlotte. 2011 has been one amazing year and I am so happy to be spending our time off in the South with the entire family.
Productive start to the day. Ran a 5k outside (gotta love Charlotte weather) in 31:30 which is great for me and now am blogging on my new iPad!!
Why is everyone so upset about not getting snow for Christmas? These crazy Canadians. I don’t know about all of you, but this mild weather is fine with me. Makes traveling much easier and keeps everyone sane on the roads which we know will be busy. Lets just hope it stays like this for our flight out to Charlotte on Tuesday…cannot wait for Charlotte!!
What happened last night? It started off with a few too many glasses of wine at the bar in the grocery store (that’s right…my grocery store is cool like that) and ended up with my fabulously gay co-worker back at my house, drinking and watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I’m hungover today…thank goodness my HALF day of work is from home!
Good or bad idea to have a beer at lunch and come back to work? After only sleeping about 5 hours last night as Ryan had a little too much holiday fun and rolled in at 2:30am for the second night in a row. And then hogged the bed and threw his arms around like we were in a boxing match.

Best commute to work I’ve had yet. Ryan decided to take the subway to work today and we rode half way to work together. It was so nice having that special time in the morning as usually we have about 10 minutes before he is out the door. 2 1/2 days left until 10 days off. Yippie!! :)

Do you think it’s appropriate for people to tell the world that they are pregnant via FB? We have good friend’s who are expecting their second - she is 12 weeks along and she sort of made the announcement on FB. To each their own but, I don’t think I would ever do that.
Guess who brought home Burger’s Priest for dinner? Yum…it was just as good as the first time. Thanks to my wonderful husband.
After trying on 30 outfits, we are finally on our way to dinner with friends. Not sure what my problem was tonight.
UPDATE: Ryan picked my outfit out in the end.

A seat opened up on the streetcar this morning in front of me. The woman next to me rudely snatched it up before I could even think about sitting down. And she got on after me which I think is so rude. However, to teach her a lessen, the window dripped down on her the entire ride, landing in her hood. She then put her hood on her head obviously not knowing that the water was going in there. ...
After 3 year’s, 3 month’s and 15 day’s of living in Canada, I am finally applying to be a Canadian Resident. The work permit thing is only going to fly for so long and I think I’m remaining here for life so this is it. A big step today…huge.
It’s a lay around, hungover type of day. Probably should not have stayed out until 2am last night. Good times though…my company Holiday Party and then a meet up with my cousin Kara and James. I hate when I start my weeks like this though…it will be a slow Monday and then a catch up type of week.
