Back from Fort Myers, FL after a short trip with my mom and sister. Very tired due to the unexpected overnight layover in Charlotte at my sister’s but so worth it. More to follow.

What an amazing weekend. We have completely skipped over spring and have moved right into summer and I am in love with it. The weekend consisted of:
- Blue Jays game - which would be fun if they started winning. I’m 0-5.
- Gym
- Friends bbq
- Dinner at House of Moments to celebrate a friends birthday. If you live in Toronto, I highly recommend checking this place out. The best sea bass and sushi I have every had. Way too many bottles of wine but such a nice evening.
- 2 hour walk in the beaches.
- Ryan’s all-star game.
- Sleepless Sunday night. I went to bed at 11:30pm, woke up at 2:30am, sort of dozed from 2:30am - 4am and then finally got out of bed at 5:30am when I gave up. Got to work at 7am. It’s going to be a long one.

- Male Client: I saw you at the grocery store.
- Me: I'm surprised, I never go, I leave that to my husband.
- Male Client: Yeah, my wife is the same, only knows where the grocery store is but never goes.
- Male Client: I saw you there with him, your husband is a good looking guy, kind of looks like a Rocker.

It was a bit hazy and windy on Sunday but beautiful enough to not have to wear a coat and I took full advantage of it with a walk in the beaches. This was after I spent 2 hours cleaning out my closet and reorganizing. I bought new shoe racks and next thing I knew, I had gotten rid of 3 huge garbage bags of clothes, shoes and purses. Also added a little spring to the house with my favorite flowers.

My cousin Kara, James and the three kids headed into town to visit James’ family (and us!) this weekend. They got in on Friday and we headed over Saturday to James’ mom’s. While Ryan and James headed to the baseball game, Kara and I went to the mall, with a tiny 9 lb. 5 week old in tow. It was quite an experience as one can imagine with a newborn but Kara got a lot of shopping done and I got to hold little Lexi Rose all day. It’s her third, so she’s pretty relaxed but really, she has been this relaxed with all three kids. After a long day at the mall, we finally met up with the boys around 8pm for a few drinks. Kara is such a trooper, three kids under the age of 5 and she still wants to go out and go shopping :). Luckily the other two kids had a sleep over with their cousins so she did have a bit of a break for the day.
p.s. We parked 3 spots back in an always overcrowded mall parking lot. Sweet bonus to having a new baby. :) Also - I napped and relaxed all day yesterday - it was exhausting being with a baby all day! :)
